Born in Italy to Polish parents and raised in Quebec, Canada, Maria-Rosa has been immersed in diverse cultures from an early age. Her passion for art began as a child, ultimately leading her to study art for two years in pre-university and complete a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

In 2014, she left Canada to explore Europe, driven by her lifelong love for travel and discovering new cultures. This journey led her to the Canary Islands, where she painted her first mural and fell in love with the medium. For her, murals became more than just large-scale artworks—they became a way to connect with local communities and environments. Each mural she creates represents a unique blend of location, experiences, and people, which continues to inspire her work.

It was in the Canary Islands that she began using spray paint, now her primary medium. Over the past decade, she has traveled the world, merging her passions for art and exploration. Her portfolio includes:

  • A year-long mural project across Latin America for various nonprofits

  • A mural for the Canadian Embassy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

  • A project organized by the Albanian Prime Minister’s Cabinet

  • Participation in international mural festivals in Poland, Australia, Mexico, and Kyrgyzstan

  • Work with multiple city councils in Canada and Australia

In recognition of her contributions to the arts, Maria-Rosa was honored with the prestigious "Artist of the Year" award by the Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec (CALQ).

She has also lived and worked in several countries, including two years in Australia, where she refined her painting skills. Along the way, she has become fluent in Spanish and Italian, adding to her proficiency in Polish, French, and English.
